This 4'5 x 6'10 early 20th-century Bakhtiari rug features a luminous blue field with a rare variant of the mina khani (“flower garden”) pattern—an enduring motif of Persian village weaving, here rendered with crisp, jewel-like symmetry. Rust, ivory, and deep teal blossoms float across a lattice of olive-green vines, forming a rhythmic field that reads both floral and geometric. Its precise execution and condition mark it as a superior example of the type.
