Description
We offer professional replacement of Danish paper cord on all appropriate seating styles. Each job includes the removal of old cord, replacement of nails and adhesive, and reweaving using traditional patterns and methods to match the original design.
Price is for standard weave. For more intricate weave styles, please select the option below.
For an added cost, full frame refinishing can be included alongside cording replacement. This service covers cleaning, sanding, and oiling or refinishing the wood to restore the chair’s overall appearance and integrity.
All work is assessed individually. If structural damage or unforeseen issues arise, we will contact you before proceeding with any additional work or invoicing.

Delivery
We offer professional white-glove delivery for larger pieces throughout the Pacific Northwest, including service to Portland, OR and Spokane, WA. Orders within 100 miles of our Seattle storefront may be scheduled directly at checkout. For destinations beyond this radius, please contact info@design-havn.com to arrange delivery following your purchase. Rates vary by piece and distance, with Portland deliveries typically ranging from $500–$700.
