Jesse Brown is a multidisciplinary artist now living in Los Angeles, but rooted in Seattle whose work fuses bold graphic composition, symbolic iconography, and text-driven visual language. His practice spans large-scale murals, graphics, and community-engaged public art, with layered patterns and cryptic symbols that invite viewers into visual puzzles grounded in urban experience and cultural narrative.  

Brown’s artistic path began in the streets of Seattle—first through graffiti and later as a youth participant in Urban ArtWorks, a nonprofit that connects artists with community projects. That early engagement evolved into a decade-long commitment with the organization, shaping his technical skills and belief in art as a tool for transformation.  

Notable among his public works is the Snakes & Ladders mural at SODO Track, a two-mile outdoor art corridor in Seattle, where he interweaves references to urban growth, industrial landscapes, mobility, and nature into a vivid visual story alongside fellow community artists.  

Across his work, Brown combines vibrant formal language with an intuitive, symbolic approach—crafting pieces that resonate both visually and conceptually with diverse audiences and settings.
